Hello Nouns and Friends of Nouns,
Wanted to kickstart this forum thread to keep everyone who is not in Atrium discord server to stay up to date on the Nouns Movie.
‘Nouns : A Movie’ workstream by Atrium was voted on by the DAO through Prop 245.
As per this Proposal, Atrium brings together a group of diverse artists working together worldwide to produce a 77 mins runtime Nouns animated movie with its original plotline.
As part of the overall workflow - This is what the Prop 245 set out to share as deliverable
- Pre-production & character development
- Script for the Pilot (3.5 mins) / ACT 1 + Summaries of all subsequent acts - delivered at 90 days
- Animated Teaser with final look for the show - delivered at 45 days
- Animated Pilot (Runtime 3.5 mins) with the above mentioned script - delivered at 90 days
I wanted to kickstart this forum post to have a stream of updates always available for people who are not part of the Atrium discord yet. I will Keep posted details here as we go:

Genre: Action Comedy
In the bustling, floating cloud city of Blus, every 13 year old’s fate is decided by the revered Noggle ceremony - An official eye exam where you are bestowed with a specific pair of glasses that determine your future profession. But when an audacious 13-year-old Noun discovers the plot of the aristocrats to use an updated version of the Noggles to enslave its citizens, he has to team up with an unlikely band of misfits to save the ones they love.

We discussed many ideas around the noggles. Nothing is concrete yet. But the gist of all the story points was that the noggles were neither good nor bad, but we explore the true meaning behind what it means to be a noun. What do the noggles represent? Maybe by straying too far from the original meaning of the noggles we stray further from the essence of what it means to be a noun. The plight may be to break away from the constraints and conventions imposed on us by society. The final meaning of nouns and noggles will be a positive one, something we drive home at the end of the story. We want to of course highlight the most important aspects of nouns in a positive light. The meaning of the noggles in the story may start off one way, and end up taking on a totally new an inspiring meaning by the end.
